Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 31, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of haultide.com (the “Site”) and any quote request, booking, or service you arrange with Haul Tide Hauling LLC (“Haul Tide,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or requesting a quote, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Who We Are
Haul Tide Hauling LLC is a locally owned junk removal, moving, and light demolition company serving Tuscaloosa, Alabama and surrounding communities. We are fully insured. You can reach us at info@haultide.com or (774) 994-3054.
2. Quotes Are Estimates
Quotes provided through the Site, by phone, or by email are estimates based on the information you give us, including any photos you upload. They are not binding offers.
Final pricing is confirmed on site once our crew can see the actual volume, weight, access conditions, and disposal requirements of the job. If conditions differ materially from what was described, we will tell you the revised price before starting work, and you may decline at no cost.
3. Scheduling and Cancellation
Appointment windows are estimates and may shift due to weather, traffic, disposal facility hours, or the length of earlier jobs. We will contact you if your window changes materially.
You may cancel or reschedule at any time before our crew arrives at no charge. If our crew arrives at the scheduled time and cannot access the property or the job has been cancelled without notice, we may charge a trip fee.
4. Your Responsibilities
When you book a service, you confirm that:
- You own the items to be removed, or you have permission from the owner to have them removed;
- You have the right to authorize work at the property, as owner, tenant, agent, or authorized representative;
- You have removed any personal, sensitive, or valuable items you wish to keep from the material to be hauled;
- You have disclosed any known hazards at the property, including unstable structures, pests, biohazards, or unsafe access;
- Vehicles and obstructions have been cleared so our truck and trailer can reach the site.
Once an item is loaded and hauled away, it cannot be recovered. Please check thoroughly before we begin.
5. Items We Cannot Accept
We cannot legally or safely transport certain materials, including hazardous chemicals, fuels, batteries, asbestos, biohazard and medical waste, refrigerants, ammunition and explosives, and other restricted materials. A full list is published on our Pricing page and may be updated from time to time.
If prohibited items are present, we will leave them in place and remove the rest of the job. We may decline a job entirely if prohibited materials cannot be safely separated. We are not responsible for disposal of anything we decline to accept.
6. Photos You Upload
Uploading photos with a quote request is optional. By uploading a photo, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not contain images of people who have not agreed to appear in it.
We use photos you upload only to estimate and carry out the job you requested. We do not publish, sell, or use your photos for advertising or marketing without asking you for permission first. If you would like your photos deleted sooner than our standard retention period, contact us and we will remove them from our records.
How we handle, store, and delete uploaded photos is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the job unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We will tell you the accepted payment methods when your job is confirmed. Prices quoted do not include applicable taxes or fees unless stated.
8. Property and Damage
Our crew takes reasonable care when working on your property. Some jobs carry unavoidable risk, particularly moving large items through tight spaces, over existing floor damage, or across surfaces already showing wear.
If we damage your property through our negligence, contact us within seven days of the job with photos and a description, and we will work with you and our insurer to make it right. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, for wear revealed once items are removed, or for damage arising from conditions you were aware of and did not disclose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Alabama law, our total liability arising out of or relating to any job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of sentimental value.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Site Content and Acceptable Use
All content on the Site, including text, photographs, logos, and the Haul Tide name and marks, belongs to Haul Tide Hauling LLC or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
You agree not to use the Site to submit false or fraudulent requests, to attempt to bypass or interfere with our spam and abuse protections, to upload malicious files, or to access the Site by automated means without our permission.
11. Service Area and U.S. Only
We serve Tuscaloosa, Alabama and nearby communities. The Site is intended for use by residents of the United States. Requests submitted from outside the United States may be disregarded as part of our anti-abuse measures.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The Effective Date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms. The Terms in effect when your job was booked govern that job.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from a job will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, and you and Haul Tide consent to that jurisdiction.
14. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to info@haultide.com, or call (774) 994-3054. Our hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
